The Bitona software suite offers CRM, Time Recording, Report Generation and Workflow functionality and is built from a number of well-established opensource components. The Bitona-Server, a J2EE-EAR, is tailored to be compatible with the standard installation of the JBoss application server and PostgreSQL database.

In contrast to many other browser-based GUI applications, Bitona offers user-friendly GUIs, based on Java Swing-Rich Client technology and J2ME Clients for handheld devices. What's more, the Bitona server provides Webservice access to all of its features, as it supports SOAP over HTTP communication protocol.
